24SH gaskets are manufactured by expanding 100% pure PTFE to produce a uniform and highly fibrillated microstructure with equal tensile strength in all directions. The resulting product shows different properties than conventional PTFE materials. This material is softer and more flexible than conventional PTFE sheets, so it is easy to adapt to irregular and rough surfaces. In addition, the material has good compressibility, creep resistance and cold flow resistance. Application: TEADIT°24SH gasket material complies with FDA food contact regulations and EU 1935/2004. 24SH is a universal gasket that replaces all other types of PTFE sheets, sealing all corrosive chemicals in the pH range of 0-14, except molten alkali and fluoride, which is not only resistant to chemical attack, but also does not contaminate the media.
