SEALTEX ST-4976
SEALTEX® flex ST- 4976
Material profile:
ST-4976 consists of tanged steel core, onto which a fiber-reinforced mica layer is rolled from both sides. Apart from expanded mica, the coating material contains temperature resistant fibers as well as a small amount of high-grade elastomers as binder. Due to the special properties of the mica material, which prevents the gasket from burning-in or baking to the sealing surface, a non-stick coating is not necessary.
Typical application:
ST-4976 was developed especially for high-temperature applications, and therefore provides optimum solutions for tasks in the exhaust area.
